AKLA AB (Apotekarnas Kemiska Laboratorium AB) is a family-owned Swedish manufacturer of first-aid, healthcare and hygiene products, founded in 1926 and reaching its 100-year anniversary in 2026. All products are developed, manufactured and packaged at the company's own facility in Askersund, Sweden. The range covers water-based burn care, sterile wound-cleansing wipes, first-aid kits/boxes/cabinets/bags, plasters, bandages and dressings, trauma/pressure dressings and specialised clinical dressings. AKLA is certified to ISO 13485 and ISO 14001, all included medical devices are CE-marked, and the company also offers private-label and contract manufacturing (e.g. profiled wet wipes and branded first-aid cushions).
