Surface Filter Supply Air Ceiling (FFD/Flächenfilterdecke)
The ADMECO FFD Supply Air Ceiling (surface filter ceiling) is used where the centralized air conditioning plant generates sufficient airflow to supply a large outlet area without recirculation. Sterile air is blown uniformly at low turbulence across the entire HEPA filter surface into the operating theatre protection zone, covering the operating field, sterile team, patient drapes, and instrument tables. The standard installation height is 400 mm, with project-specific minimum heights down to 220 mm possible, giving maximum design freedom for duct connections. ADMECO offers a range of standard sizes as well as fully customized solutions.
