The company has led Turkey's pharmaceutical industry since 2002 and develops the sector's largest portfolio: close to 250 brands and more than 500 products spanning general treatments, central nervous system, specialty care, respiratory and consumer health. Manufacturing is centred on the 174,600 m² Esenyurt Production Complex near Istanbul (opened 2000; ~700 million boxes/year capacity; GMP/GLP; ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified and audited by European health authorities) and the AbdiBio biotechnology plant (13,500 m², opened 2018), backed by Turkey's first accredited pharmaceutical R&D centre. Abdi İbrahim operates in 17 countries outside Turkey and exports to more than 70 countries, and runs a 50/50 joint venture, Abdi İbrahim Otsuka, with Japan's Otsuka Pharmaceutical.
