PerfusionSim is a task trainer for Normothermic Regional Perfusion (NRP) in Donation after Circulatory Death (DCD) for organ transplantation, and for Resuscitative Endovascular Balloon Occlusion of the Aorta (REBOA). The adult torso manikin with removable thorax allows practitioners to place real venous and arterial cannulas for NRP in DCD donors, and for VA-ECMO in cardiac arrest and refractory cardiogenic shock. The replaceable dual-vessel (artery and vein) femoral-side insert supports multiple access attempts including ultrasound-guided cannulation, and a transparent right atrial entry enables direct visualisation of cannula entry once the thorax is removed.
